Appellation : MARGAUX
Vineyard / Grape varieties: 70% merlot, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 10% petit verdot.
Vinification : The harvest is entirely manual with grapes picked at optimum maturity. Small crates are used in order to protect the berries and bring a crop with excellent sanitary conditions to the cellar. Sorting of the grapes by the pickers and in the winery. Vinification in stainless steel tanks for Merlot and Cabernet. Temperature controlled in stainless steel tanks with punching of the cap, pumpingover and 4 weeks maceration. Vinification in barrels for Petit Verdot.
Aging : 100% new oak barrels during 16 to 18 months.
