This is a determined and masculine expression with dark fruit flavors that wrap boldly around the finish. The wine boasts pretty layers of tobacco, leather and toasted spice although the overall effect is balanced and generous. This wine should age forward over the next decade (29th Sep 2015)

This is pure Sangiovese from Emilia-Romagna in Italy that has a consistent ruby red color with excellent intensity and hue. It has a complex, spicy, floral nose reminiscent of Mediterranean flora, small red and black forest berries, hints of mineral and a light toastiness. The palate is refined, warm, soft, enveloping and balanced. This wine is full-bodied, tannic with a deep and engaging, harmonious, persistent finish. This is aged for 2 years in oak and 6 months in the bottle before release.
