Heitz Wine Cellars

Sauvignon Blanc 2013
Think of the elegance of a tree-ripened white nectarine — floral and fruity aromas that are so exquisitely balanced with the flavors in the mouth, and the finish ties everything together with its bright and easy crispness.

Chardonnay 2014
All of the best elements of the varietal are seamlessly aligned here. This rich, complex Chardonnay is surprisingly bright and elegant on the palate. Lush aromatics open effortlessly into flavors of ripened melon and apricot. A creamy texture mid-palate is nicely balanced with refreshing acidity and mineral notes that carry the wine to a long, lovely finish.

Grignolino 2013
You will love the vibrancy of the fruit in this light-bodied red wine. Brilliant garnet color and captivating aromas of bergamot citrus and redcurrant — this wine has all the exciting character of the varietal. The Heitz family's first vineyard purchased in the Napa Valley was planted to this Northern Italian grape, and they have delighted in producing this charming wine since 1961.

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
Elegant and gracefully proportioned, the Napa Valley Cabernet is a stand-out. A delicate bouquet of violets mingles with bright fruit flavors and notes of spicy fennel on the palate. This wine has been aged 3 years in oak. It is nicely balanced with acidity, which gives it a refreshing lift.

Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
A single glance at the deep garnet hue of this Cabernet heralds the lushness of the wine. With youthful exuberance, the wine leaps from the glass with aromas of fresh-picked blackberry, and a touch of rich cocoa. The aromatics continue onto the palate with a delightful, lingering finish and an alluring sweetness. True to the cool 2010 vintage, this wine is dense and powerful. It was aged in oak for 3½ years.

Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
This wine is a true testament to the vitality of Martha’s Vineyard itself. A very inviting wine with rich aromas of boysenberry, cassis and mint all tightly woven around a sweet core. On the palate this Cabernet is firm with rich, savory notes of cigar box and chocolate, culminating in a silky finish. A compelling and flavorful wine. As always, this release will reward patient cellaring. It is aged in oak for 3½ years.

Port
Rich and full-bodied with a wonderfully balanced sweetness. The lush, fruitiness of this wine comes from a blend of eight classic Portuguese varieties. This has an outstanding depth of dark berry flavors with smooth notes of honey.
