The Lineup
- SurSur (2016) 90+ Points, Wine Enthusiast – Brilliant straw yellow, on the nose it offers a fresh bouquet with fruity notes of white peaches combined with scents of elderflowers and rosemary. A soft palate, the fruity notes return combined with pleasant freshness. Varietal(s): 100% Grillo
- Chiarandà (2015) – Has a golden yellow color. The nose offers a complex bouquet with scents of yellow-fleshed fruit (peach) and Mediterranean scrub on a spicy and mineral background of vanilla and flint. The palate is ample and enveloping, characterized by a fresh savory note. An ample white with a long and satisfying persistence and great aging potential. Varietal(s): 100% Chardonnay
- Sedàra (2015) – Ruby red, this wine offers a fruity bouquet with scents of blackberries and blueberries combined with a light spicy note of black pepper. The palate displays good structure with suave tannins and pleasant freshness. A soft red, versatile for food pairing, perfect for every day. Varietal(s): Nero d’Avola, along with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and other indigineous varietals
- Mille e Una Notte (2012) – Has an ample and enveloping bouquet characterized by fruity notes of mulberry, blackberry and plum, and balsamic and spicy scents (nutmeg). In the mouth it is soft and intense and it amazes with the great finesse of its tannins. Long persistence on the finish. Donnafugata’s flagship red confirms itself as an icon of style and elegance. - Ben Ryè (2015) – The nose offers a fragrant and complex bouquet, with notes of fresh apricot and orange zest combined with scents of Mediterranean scrub (thyme and rosemary). The palate amazes with its great freshness and intensity, with a pleasant sweetness balanced by great minerality and lively sapidity. It finishes with a lingering persistence, with a satisfying return of the fruity note. A complex and captivating Passito di Pantelleria, one of the most appreciated Italian sweet wines in the world.
