This fine and elegant red is a blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Frappato. It offers aromas of ripe black cherry, cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon. The tannins – mature, soft, rounded – dissolve in the mouth thanks to the incredible sweetness of the fruit. The oriental spices combine with the complex flavors of smoked pancetta, cooked must, marjoram and prickly pear. This is aged for 12 months in oak.
