Sidebar Rhoneish Redwood Valley 2014 (750 ml)

[87 Wine Advocate] David Ramey continues to expand his wine business with a moderately priced label called Sidebar. I tasted six cuvées, all 2014s from Sidebar, and they are straightforward, easygoing, bistro-styled wines. With respect to the reds, the 2014 Red Rhôneish (a blend of 48% Mourvèdre, 37% Grenache and the rest Syrah) is Côte the Rhône-like with lavender, pepper, strawberry and cherry fruit.

Winery's Notes: Rich, soft and plush yet perfectly dry, this southern Rhône inspired blend will fill your mouth with pleasure.
