2012 is a great year for Cabernet in Napa. Atalon's goal is to make a soft approachable Cabernet that is elegant yet impactful. The 2012 Atalon Cabernet Sauvignon is opaque dark ruby in color. There is a sweetness of dark fruit. Black cherry, blackberry, currant and plum lead the way to cocoa powder, spice and integrated oak. It has great depth and richness of black fruit. Soft, elegant, velvety and juicy with refined tannins and a long finish.
Blend: 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot
