Ruby red color with good intensity and hue. Intense flavors of ripe red fruits, with light mineral hints on the nose. Full-bodied and fruity, soft tannins and consistent, rich fruit, with intense and persistent finish.

Podere La Berta counts 22 hectares of property of which 14 are planted to vines. The 2013 Romagna Sangiovese Superiore Solano reveals great intensity and balance with a more evident signature of toasted oak that gives the wine structure and sophistication. Sangiovese in Romagna is harvested ten days earlier on average compared to Sangiovese in Tuscany. Solano delivers sweet fruit flavors and soft tannins but you can really taste the quality of both in this balanced vintage.
