Spring Valley Vineyard Uriah 2013 (750 ml)

The Winemaking team is proud to present this 15th Vintage of Uriah with balance and terroir being the goal of this wine. This blend of 5 different varietals will please wine lovers who are looking for complexity, finesse and food friendly wines. The nose is terroir driven with hints of wheat, basalt dust and herbal notes. The palate is very rich and soft with cherries, cassis, and pomegranates. The finish is long and velvety.

BLEND: 45% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2013 Uriah is another wine that’s good, yet comes in behind other recent vintages. Made from 45% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and the rest Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, this medium-bodied, charming, open knit and nicely textured 2013 has moderate mid-palate depth, notes of currants, cherries, savory spice and dried herbs, ripe tannin, and a good finish. Drink bottle through 2023.
