Uccelliera Rosso di Montalcino 2022 (750 ml)

This is pure Sangiovese from Uccelliera in Tuscany. The vineyards are in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, at elevations of 150-350 metres on well-exposed hillslopes south-east of Montalcino. This is velvety, medium-bodied, and well-balanced. The wine offers bright fruit, a soft palate with a lingering finish. It matures in Slavonian and French oak barrels for a minimum of 8 months before being bottled at the estate. After bottling, the wine aged for an additional 3 months before being released for sale. Pair this stunning Rosso with hors d'oeuvres, first courses, vegetables, fine poultry and red meat.
