Susana Balbo Brioso Single Vineyard 2015 (750 ml)

'Brioso' is a dark and brooding blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot from Finca Dominio and Agrelo. This wine spent 15 months in 100% new French oak barrels and offers aromas of ripe blackberries and dark currants along with toasted coconut, sweet spices, mocha and hints of loam. On the palate this is dense and concentrated with layers of ripe dark fruits and sweet toasted flavors cascading on to the plush finish. Today, this modern, forward style red is showing plenty of seductive qualities, and there is no doubt many readers will find the style very appealing.
